When I was a kid, my dad often brought me along with him to the office where I watched him charm people with his charisma and ability to understand people. My mom raised 4 children and a granddaughter on her own, on relatively very little income. Point is, both of my parents have worked extremely hard in their lives, and I am a product of exactly that. I wouldn’t say there is a singular event or experience that turned that metaphorical lightbulb on inside, but rather a collection of experiences similar to those mentioned above.
